| There are
tien different nationalities in the team of SC Heerenveen. Heerenveen is
a village in the North of Holland in a county called Fryslân, a county
with it's own language and its own culture. To let the players taste a
bit of the Frisian culture, they planned a fierljep clinic for the
Heerenveen players. Fierljeppen is a typical Frisian sport.
For the only real Frisian in the team of SC Heerenveen is Age Heins Boersma. For him fierljeppen is nothing new. But especially for his teammates from other countries this clinic was the first contact with fierjeppen. So there were a lot of National records made. Niklas
Tarvajärvi
was the best in IJlst. The Finnisch offender won with 11.79 m. from
Michael Dingsdag and coach Gertjan Verbeek. But not everyone made it to
